I have been away for a couple of weeks and I’ve really missed posting and reading your blog posts-thanks to each one who checked in on my blog this week. As always, I appreciate it very much!
The reason for my absence is first, that I have family that lives in Houston, TX. With the events that unfolded after Hurricane Harvey and not being able to be with them there, I was so concerned for them and for everyone there, I spent much of my time trying to direct my family from a few states away.
Secondly, after Hurricane Harvey passed, there was sheltering assistance that I was tasked with for those who were fleeing Florida and the hurricane on the way there. It’s been a busy, and somewhat stressful couple of weeks. Please join me in continuing to keep all of those affected by the hurricanes in Houston, TX and Florida in our prayers.
I would like to leave you with this image at the end of this week that is a bit comical to me. It appears to me that the image is in need of a caption! If anyone would like to take a stab at it, I would be really curious to see what you come up with! Keep it light and non-offensive please 🙂
Have a great weekend everyone!
