The connotation of the word ‘stumble’ has the idea of setting a trap. The hatred of the world was such that it would seek to trap and destroy the disciples in an effort to prevent their witness to Jesus as Messiah and Son of God. Jesus did not want them to be caught unaware (John 16:4).

I really just wanted to have a place in this chaotic world where I could share some things that are not chaotic.
