We are all on death row, and there is only one way out. Jesus.
We are all on death row, and there is only one way out. Jesus.
Patience is the primary virtue needed in order to reach your destination, along with your faith and trust in Jesus.

Matthew 18:3
Emotions constantly fluctuate, but the facts about God never change. So instead of making decisions out of fear, let’s rely on what we know about the Lord. Unbelief often results in aimless wandering and decisions we come to regret. But when we courageously trust God and His Word, we will find fulfillment in His purpose.

The High Cost of Wavering Faith
In Numbers 13:25-33, they chose to believe the bad report of some spies instead of trusting God. To walk obediently with the Lord, we need to guard against the influence of those who don’t recognize His greatness.

Man and material are like plants-here today and gone tomorrow. Since the word of the Lord endures forever, to place your focus and your trust in the Lord is to avoid folly.
Christians are to cast all of their discontent, discouragement, despair, and suffering on the Lord, and trust Him for knowing what He’s doing with their lives. Along with submission (v. 5) and humility (vv. 5,6), trust in God is the third attitude necessary for victorious Christian living.
Commentary from the MacArthur study Bible, notes for 1 Peter 5:7.
Do you ever look at your circumstances and see no possible way the Lord could bring something good from them? What benefit could come from illness, unemployment, a broken family, or other difficulties? While we can’t always understand what God is doing, there is one thing we can do – trust Him to use our situation for His own glorious purposes.
When we view life from God’s perspective, every hardship becomes an opportunity to trust His good purpose, fully depend on Him, and respond in a manner that glorifies and exalts Christ.
